Gauging

We carry out gauging surveys for clearance and as-built (acceptance) purposes. Gauging surveys are most commonly required for tunnels, platforms, cuttings and bridges (both over and under). The surveys may be coordinated and referenced to PGMs for grid and elevation or may simply be a schedule of clearances.

We use either the Amberg GRP5000 Rail Trolley or the Robel Platform Gauge depending upon requirements.

The deliverables can be either SC0 Files, for input into ClearRoute™ or, in the case of platforms, in the form of bespoke Platform Gauging Sheets.
