Mobile Mapping

Move Your Surveying into Top Gear....

....with ABA's Mobile Mapping System

Mobile mapping with survey grade accuracy

This was the goal that ABA achieved with three objectives of high speed, high accuracy and high density datasets.

The ABA system is fully flexible and can be configured to use one, two or three interlinked Leica 6000 scanners to suit the task in hand.

Whether the purpose is pavement management, road design, topographical corridor surveys or accurate architectural street scenes the system can be configured to suit.

It’s the details that set us apart

Nothing comes close to ABA Mobile Mapping when you look into the fine details. With no less than three Leica 6000 scanners the level of detail recorded is second only to static scanning but at ten times the speed.

The distance between scan points in the cross track direction can be configured independently for each scanner down to just a few millimetres if needed.

The distance between scan points in the long track direction is determined by a combination of the speed of the vehicle and the speed of rotation of the scanner. The system operates between 1 and 80 kph, is fully configurable and is designed to produce the best results for every type of survey whether it is 500 or 5000 points per square metre.
