About us

ABA Surveying was formed in 1990 and has always been at the leading edge of technology. Our aim is to bring to our clients the benefits of such technology by developing for them the most appropriate solution to their data requirements.

Current fashion brands our profession as Geomatics or Geospatial Engineering but our core business remains as land surveying, engineering surveying and the provision of high accuracy spatial datasets.

Particular successes in recent years have been in leading the field in the development of 3d scanning techniques for surveying purposes. The company operates three of the highest specification scanners in the UK and has developed proven techniques for a wide range of surveying tasks.

We are acutely aware that the continuing success of our company hinges on our ability to maintain value for money. To ensure that we do keep our leading position we have invested heavily in the best possible equipment and technology and have automated data collection and processing to ensure efficiency throughout.

Highly automated, the company uses digital levels, robotic total stations with automatic target recognition and reflectorless capability, dual frequency geodetic GPS receivers and 3d scanners for High Density Scanning surveys.
