Specialising in BIM compliant datasets of the built environment, the company operates across the transport, architectural, heritage, structural and engineering sectors.

Formed in 1990, the Company has a reputation for developing unique surveying solutions in challenging situations based on the innovative use of new technology.

Having always been at the forefront of new technology, ABA was one of the first survey companies in the UK to adopt 3d scanning in 2000, one of the first UK survey companies to apply 3d kinematic surveying to the rail sector in 2003, one of the first UK survey companies to develop bespoke 3d mobile scanning for the highways sector in 2009 and in 2016-2017 is one of the UK survey companies entrusted to trial and test the latest track measuring system for Network Rail approval.

Our aspiration is to be the survey supplier of choice for all our clients.

Parliamentary Review 2017

ABA Surveying are proud to appear alongside the Prime Minister and a small number of other organisations in the 2017 Parliamentary Review as a Best Practice Representative.

The aim of the Parliamentary Review is to highlight best practice among “a small number of outstanding organisations.” Used as a learning tool to the public and private sector the document that looks back on the year in industry and Westminster.

The Prime Minister said “this year’s Parliamentary Review followed a significant year in British politics” and this is reflected in the articles from leading journalists and best-practice representatives alike.
